Summer 2008 Internship: AOL Usability Lab

While I was part of the AOL UI team from May through July 2008, I designed and implemented a usability lab for use by the team. I also conducted some usability tests created documents to help UI team members conduct usability tests after my departure. The lab is designed to allow both eye-tracking and traditional on-screen usability tests (using TechSmith's Morae software), as well as paper prototypes and mobile applications. The paper prototypes and mobile (mostly iPhone) tests are recorded via tripod-mounted webcam.
